Why The Long Face?

Our aim is to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible, while ensuring every single guest comes and asks you where you found the fun bartenders.

With years of experience pouring drinks at every type of event Melbourne has to offer, you can trust that the bar is sorted, and instead focus on worrying about the hors d’oeuvres.

While we promise to bring the laughs, we’re also damn good at what we do. From first contact to when we pack up and leave, we’ll make your job as easy as possible.

How does it work?

You buy the drinks that you’d like to serve at your event and we’ll serve them with added razzle dazzle.

What we’ll do - We’ll guide you on what to buy, turn up early to bump-in, make the bar look gorgeous, serve your guests for as long as you want us to, clear the empties and just generally keep the party going for the duration of the event

What you’ll do - Have the best God damn day ever

We will need access to the event space 2 hours prior and 1 hour after service in order to set up and pack down and have the bar looking schmick.

What does the hire include?

When you hire The Long Face, you’ll receive:
- The Long Face Bar (of course)
- at least 2 bartenders (or more depending on the number of guests),
- ice,
- all bar ware,
- decorations, including festoon/fairy lights
- nonstop jokes and fun times
- some quality content for your Insta highlights package!
- a thorough cleanup - it’ll be like we were never there

Are all staff RSA trained?

Of course! It’d be kind of illegal if they weren’t

Does The Long Face sell alcohol?

The Long Face does not sell alcohol… yet. But this means you can have full creative control and save some serious $$ by purchasing yourself.
We will absolutely help you with working out how much you need based on how many guests you’re hosting, and even pick it up for you.

What extras do you offer?

Glassware hire - Wine glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers
Champagne tower & sabrage
Table service - we will need extra bar staff for this
Rubbish disposal
Lawn games - Cornhole, Horseshoes, Croquet, Quoits, Finska

How much space does The Long Face need?

The dimensions of the bar are 2m wide x 3m long and we will need to have enough room to back it in and set up trestle tables behind to keep the cleanup neat and inconspicuous.
